JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for executing custom projects at a high level by directly contributing to project design and commissioning, while leading and tasking junior Engineers to various project tasks that lead to efficient project completion, and general team growth. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a key member of an Engineering team with the responsibilities of designing, installing, and commissioning various industrial electrical systems. Systems to include power distribution relaying and study analysis, custom electrical equipment design & commissioning, and project management for heavy industry projects. The position requires hands-on shop and field support to work both independently and within a team to lead and mentor various Coalmont Engineers and technicians to successfully complete projects based on sound engineering practices, customer specifications and expectations. The Electrical CAD Drafter will be able to complete drawings within specified timelines and communicate effectively with senior team members on electrical specifications to complete drawings within the design criteria. Additional tasks will include supporting the shop assembly processes as needed to maintain consistent shop turn-around, as well as building personal knowledge and experience in the complete design-build process.
