Coalmont provided complete rebuild services for an 1800 KVA dual 4160 VAC underground belt drive power center, including comprehensive inspection, testing, and transformer rewind to address phase-to-phase shorting discovered during diagnostics. Our in-house transformer rewind capability—with specialized equipment for both dry type and oil filled transformers—enabled expedited repair without relying on external vendors or extended lead times for replacement units. 

This transformer expertise is central to our value as a power center service provider. The ability to rewind transformers in-house gives Coalmont intimate knowledge of transformer construction, common failure modes, and repair processes—making us more effective at troubleshooting and maintaining this equipment in the field. Our 30,000+ sq ft shop facility supports complete transformer testing, component-level diagnostics, selective replacement of damaged or worn components, and full system validation before return to service.
