Coalmont provided comprehensive engineering and safety installation services for Gerdau's North Bander system, beginning with detailed engineering studies and bid package development to support competitive procurement. Our scope included onsite data acquisition and system evaluation, electrical engineering design with single-line drawings, material specifications, controls architecture definition, and two complete bid packages (Electrical Installation and Startup Commissioning Support). Following the study phase, Coalmont executed safety circuit installation integrating new Allen-Bradley safety control relays with existing machinery and coordinating with equipment OEM (Sundbirsta) safety systems, including installation of dual safety relays, operator station contacts, safety circuit integration with machinery, and electrical cables for power and safety connections.
